In honour of Coronation Street's 60 year (and counting) run, The Queen paid a visit to the set of the iconic British soap on Thursday (8 July), and it looked like she enjoyed every minute on the cobbles!
Her Majesty had a 40 minute tour of the ITV dramas set and studios in Trafford, Greater Manchester, and we can't get enough of the photos and videos.
The Royal Family instagram account shared a video of the day, soundtracked of course with the show's theme tune.
The caption read: "Today The Queen visited the set of the world's longest running soap opera: Coronation Street. Last year 'Corrie' celebrated its 60th anniversary.
"The show, a story of the everyday lives of the inhabitants of a northern town called Weatherfield, was first screened live at 7pm on Friday 9th December 1960."

Meeting some of the 300 strong cast, creatives and crew that make the show happen, the tour of course included one of the most famous pubs in British history.
Bill Roache, who stars as Ken Barlow, Barbara Knox (Rita), Sue Nicholls (Audrey) and Helen Worth (Gail), all greeted the monarch outside the Rovers Return with bows and curtsies, in a surreal moment for fans of the soap.
But it's not actually her first visit to Weatherfield, the Queen previously visited in 1982 at the original studios in Manchester, having moved to the Trafford set in 2013.

The Royal Family account continued in the caption to talk about the output and longevity of the the show and it really is quite something.
"More than 10,000 episodes later the programme has seen 57 births, 146 deaths and 131 weddings. Coronation Street transmits 6 episodes a week, filming the equivalent of almost two feature films a week. It is broadcast in 105 countries around the world. The Coronation Street Production site is 7.7 acres and the biggest single television production facility of its kind in the world."

The whole team that make this show happen should be so proud.
